”Elaine Mellencamp: John Mellencamp’s Wife – split”
Elaine Irwin Mellencamp and her musician husband John Mellencamp, are divorcing, their rep says.
The two had been together for 20 years and were married for 18 of them.
In a statement, publicist Bob Merlis spoke of their decision to split, saying:
(The Mellencamps) are proud of their 20 years together and are very happy with their accomplishments both as parents and as a family.
They’re mum on the reason for the breakup,
