The San Francisco 49ers have reached out to Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh about their vacant head coaching position, according to FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer on Twitter.
Jim Tomsula is the interim for the final game of the season, a meaningless matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. However, it’s near certain that he’s simply a filler and won’t keep the position moving forward.
