Ron Franklin, announcer for ESPN, has been reportedly fired after the sexist comments he made to sideline reporter Jeannine Edwards. Franklin, who has worked mostly in Big 12 games in recent times, ends this way a 20-year long career with the popular sports network.
The Associated Press reported that a spokesman from ESPN stated that “based on what occurred last Friday, we have ended our relationship with (Franklin).”
As you may recall, Franklin had sexist comments against Edwards
