Kilauea Volcano Shows Activity in Hawaii

The Kilauea volcano in Hawaii’s Big Island is currently being monitored after it presented some heightened activity.

The volcano spew lava 65 feet in the air, but luckily no one was hurt and even people camping were kept safe. According to geologist Janet Babb of the U.S. Geological Survey the volcano activity shows “new episodes in eruptions and further unknowns.”
