Beansprouts farmed in north of Germany are suspected to be the origin of an E. coli outbreak that has caused 22 people dead, says German local officials.
Gert Lindemann, the agriculture minister for Lower Saxony, stated there was a clean trail of prove guiding to a plant greenhouse south of Hamburg.
The nursery has been shut down, though officials state the E. coli outbreak’s source can’t yet be definitively affirmed.
Germans are being suggested to stop consuming the beansprouts.
