Remember the MiniDisc? Few folks do. But Sony stated Friday that it designs to stop Walkmans based on the initialize.
“MiniDisc Walkmans will be available until shop stocks are depleted,” Japanese newspaper The Nikkei covered. “Sony will continue to make the MiniDiscs themselves, as well as stereos that can play back the audio discs. It will also keep producing CD Walkmans.”
