U.S. defeats Brazil in penalty shootout, grabs Women’s World Cup semifinals | Women's World Cup

U.S. women’s soccer team defeats favorite Brazil on shootout on a dramatic fashion at the 2011 Women’s World Cup.
Marta was equally as good as her popularity, marking both Brazilian goals and producing chance after chance with her dreamlike ball control.
The Americans took a spectacularly early 1-0 lead just in the 2nd minute on great confidence by midfielder Shannon Boxx and a slip by Brazilian sweeper Daiane.
But then Marta’s uncomparable skill raised a scoring opportunity.
