Biomass Crop Assistance deadline extended
The deadline for producers to sign up for the Biomass Crop Assistance Program (BCAP) has been extended a week. The original deadline was today (September 16th) but Farm Service Agency Administrator Bruce Nelson says they’ve moved it to the end of the day Friday, September 23, 2011. Nelson says they want to make sure as many farmers and ranchers as possible take part in BCAP project areas that aren’t filled up yet.
