Brazilian federal court ordered the immediate cessation of building work at the main international airport of Sao Paulo.
The judge said the state aviation authorities ignored the proper bidding process when awarding contracts for projects at the airport in Guarulhos.
In its ruling, the judge Louise Vilela Filgueiras Borer, explaining that he ordered the work stoppage was due to aviation authorities, Infraero, giving the contract to Delta Construction without a tender process.
