Flooding, exports and other dairy notes

Flooding is still a problem in the Northeastern United States; remnants of Tropical Storm Lee are dumping heavy rain on the area already flooded by Hurricane Irene. Milk haulers are getting through but many have to put on extra miles to get there. Dairy Market News reports only minor schedule disruptions at dairy plants. The bigger concern is crop damage and the loss of dairy feed supplies.
