The latest Crop Progress Report from USDA shows crops are still behind the five-year average for development in the eastern cornbelt and ahead of normal in Illinois and Iowa. Agronomist Todd Vagts with Channel Seed in Wisconsin says this is a good time to evaluate your seed selections.
