(WAOW) – Two of the best girls’ tennis players in central Wisconsin went head to head Thursday as Marshfield visited DC Everest.
Both Tiger Megan Hayes and Evergreen Gabi Kitchell entered their match with 3-0 conference records at number one singles.
Kitchell took a 5-0 lead in the opening set before Hayes cut the lead to 5-2, but Kitchell proved to be too strong, winning the set and the match, 6-2, 6-1.
DC Everest also hosted a volleyball match, taking on Wausau West. The
