Minnesota smoke drifts across Wisconsin & U.P.

Smoke from a wildfire in the Arrowhead region of Minnesota is spreading across northern and central Wisconsin. The fire started when lightning struck a tree in the Minnesota Boundary Waters Canoe Area on August 18th. Little attention was paid to the fire as it was miles from any structure but wind caused the size of the blaze to triple on Sunday.
