Monday midday cash livestock markets
The main item of business in feedlot country on Monday is the distribution of the new show lists. After the sharply higher market last week feedlots are expected to price cattle higher at 119.00 plus live and 189.00 plus on the dressed. Meat salesmen have to find a way to mark boxes sharply higher in order to support still greater spending in the country. Such a trick just might require cuts in production, slower chain speed that just could water down new country leverage linked to tightening
