Ohio corn and soybeans hold their own

The condition of the Ohio corn and soybean crop pretty much held their own in the latest weekly crop and weather report from the Ohio field office of the National Ag Statistics Service (NASS).
As of Sunday, September 4, 85 percent of the Ohio corn crop was in dough, 37 percent of the crop was dented, well behind the 5-year average of 64 percent and 3 percent of the crop was mature, 6 percent behind average.
