United Horsemen urge calls to Senators

The United Horsemen’s group says Congress is at a pivotal moment that may reopen the door to horse processing in the United States. The group’s Mindy Patterson tells Brownfield they’ve been urging supporters to contact members of the Senate Appropriations Committee – who are marking up the ag appropriations bill today. Patterson says there’s a risk that the bill may be amended to put the “rider” that forced the end to domestic horse processing – back into the bill. She says
