A varied week for Wisconsin crops
Quite a varied week weather-wise in Wisconsin last week, the weekly Crop Progress Report from the National Ag Statistics Service Wisconsin Field Office says temperatures averaged 2 to 5 degrees above normal for the week but ranged from highs in the 90’s on Friday to lows in the 40’s by Sunday morning. Strong winds flattened crops in Vernon, Trempealeau, Monroe, Juneau and Waushara Counties on Friday morning. Precipitation for the week ranged from 0.23 inches in Eau Claire to 1.36 inches in
