Vilsack: jobs bill to have rural impact

The President’s $447 billion jobs proposal, which includes putting $50 billion in transportation infrastructure, will have an immediate impact on Rural America’s economy. That’s according to U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
“You’re talking about highways and transit and rail, aviation systems, water systems, that all is extraordinarily important to moving agricultural product and processed product to market, which is extraordinarily important for folks in rural communities,”
