Windows 8 to boot in 8 seconds

Microsoft has unveiled that it has developed a new method to advance the speed of booting Windows 8 with a new quick startup mode which is a cross of traditional cold boot and restarting from hibernate.
The statement arrived via a blog post in the Building Windows 8 blog on MSDN.com authored by Windows program management director Gabe Aul and posted by Steven Sinofsky Windows Division president.
