Beyonce’s “Countdown” Already Has A Controversy
Beyonce has already been criticized for allegedly ripping off previous artists’ works for her musical performances, and now anti-Bey fans have more fuel to throw onto the fire. Clips from her “Countdown” video were matched-up with footage of Belgian choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, and it’s obvious that someone on Team Beyonce had seen them before. But is it homage? Inspiration? Or were we never to find out that the video’s style was not 100% original?
