It may be late in the week before cattle feeders and buyers get together on a price for the cattle on this week’s show lists. So far on Wednesday no bids have been reported. Sluggish beef movement and poor packer margins will keep cattle buyers cautious. Tuesday’s recovery in futures is helped to fortify asking prices around 123.00 live and 193.00 to 195.00 dressed. However a lot depends on the direction of futures market and beef values today and tomorrow.
Choice boxed beef is .82 higher
