The weigh-ins for UFC 127 in Sydney went off without a hitch and the UFC even stifled any pushing and shoving that could’ve occured.
Jon Fitch and B.J. Penn went nose-to-nose during the staredown. Penn is the much smaller fighter. He weighed in at 167.2 but he was also wearing his jeans. Fitch is likely to walk into the Octagon with a weight advantage of somewhere between 15 and 20 pounds.
It was also no surprise to see Michael Bisping so hyped up that he was ready to deck Jorge Rivera.
