St. Louis Cardinals baseball player Adam Wainwright experienced a right elbow injury and was flown to St. Louis for proper examination.
Cardinals GM Jon Mozeliak spoke to the press saying that he believes Wainwright has a “significant injury”. He appeared on 590AM radio stating that the ace starting pitcher will need Tommy john surgery; we are talking here about approximately 13 months of recovery time.
