april fools pranks and ideas April Fools Day. Having learned the hard way that “paybacks are hell,” I am not much of a prankster anymore but I do enjoy witnessing a good harmless prank.
Over the years newspapers and other publications have attempted April Fools pranks on their readers. There are dozens of minefields to cross in doing so, however, so I tried it only once.
About 20 years ago our editor and I came up with a plan that would have been much easier to do a few years later
