We have received reports saying that a 4.7 magnitude earthquake has hit western Quebec, Canada. This happens the same day Puerto Rico was also hit by an earthquake earlier on today!
Tremors were felt from the greater Montreal region to Ottawa at exactly 1:36 pm.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located in Lachute, Quebec, according to natural Resources Canada.
According to witnesses the earthquake was felt more like a loud noise and it lasted around 10 seconds.
