The NBA’s scoring leader for the Oklahoma City Thunder turned to Twitter— where he has more than 550,000 followers—and invited fans to join his pool on ESPN.com. Durant was saying Wednesday night that he was hoping for the 200-300 number, completely unaware that more than 5,000 already had signed up by that point.
