The NPR is currently in the middle of tumultuous time. Today it was reported that Vivian Schiller, CEO of NPR had been fired by the NPR board. The news was later confirmed through a statement by the board saying the following:
“The Board accepted Vivian’s resignation with understanding, genuine regret and great respect for her leadership of NPR these past 2 years.”
