LOS ANGELES — Rapper and music producer Nate Dogg, a prominent figure in the world of hip-hop, has died at 41, a trade newspaper reported Wednesday.
In its story, the Hollywood Reporter did not give a cause of death or other details.
Best known for his 1994 hit, “Regulate,” Nate Dogg — a longtime friend and collaborator of rap legends Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac Shakur — died late Tuesday, it reported.
A number of rap musicians and other celebrities used tweets to mourn his death.
