The first waves of the tsunami generated by today’s earthquake in Japan have reached U.S. coasts in Oregon. Reports have been arriving from different media such as Fox News, MSNBC and NBC News.
The waves reached the coast of Port Orford in Oregon at around 7:30 PST according to information given by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. A tsunami alert was issued to alert citizens and initiate evacuation in low ground areas.
