Fire departments are asking residents to change the batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
York, PA – With Daylight Saving Time beginning early Sunday morning — when clocks are set forward one hour — fire departments are encouraging residents to change the batteries in their smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
Time change: The old adage of “spring forward, fall back” applies, so at 2 a.m. Sunday, clocks are to be set forward one hour.
