Green Day showed an hour-long farewell concert as the ‘American Idiot’ musical theater ran to a close on Broadway last night.
The punk band – found by of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool – sang a 10-song set, which admitted hits such as ‘Holiday’ and ‘Burnout’, at the St. James Theatre in New York as the cast danced behind them saluting beer.
