Des Moines’ federal immigration office is outgrowing their current downtown location, so they’re looking to expand.
The problem is they’re not finding a location where they’re welcome.
ICE, or Immigration Customs Enforcement, is looking to move out of the Federal building and set up shop in a bigger location.
As different locations are thrown around, the opposition to ice finding a new home is getting more difficult.
First a warehouse along 12st Street and Meredith Drive
