Minot, North Dakota faces flood evacuation deadline

Resident of the Minot, North Dakota were warned to reach higher ground instantly today as the flooding Souris River began to spill over dams.
More than 11,000 Minot occupants had been told to leave their homes by 6pm local time Wednesday, but the emergency evacuation order was anticipated to be came up as waters levels kept going to rise quickly, report FOX News.
The National Weather Service issued a flashflood alert at 11.30am local time for areas above and below Minot, a city of around 40,000
