Saab admits it cannot pay workers

Staff at auto manufacturer Saab Automobile perhaps forced to go without salaries as its parent company proclaimed today it doesn’t have the financial backing to pay them.
In a affirmation this morning, Swedish Automobile said it’s in discussions with “several parties” to find short-term funding.
Some alternatives being considered include the sale and lease-back of real property owned by Saab.
