Now that their work on the Free Trade Agreements with Columbia, Panama and South Korea is complete, it’s on to the 2012 Farm Bill for the American Soybean Association (ASA).
“We thought that was going to be a marathon process,” Kemper said. “We started a year ago with the Farm Bill Task Force, but with the Budget Control Act put through by Congress, where the Super Committee was formed, we’ve had to go into a sprint mode with our Farm Bill proposal.”
