Nissan Motor Co., Japan’s 2nd- largest auto manufacturer, stated early this month it will promote freights of Leaf battery-electric cars to the United States, where it has earned about 500 deliveries as late December.
The manufacturer, with 20,000 purchasers expecting to receive cars, this week got its early shipment of the automobiles following Japan’s March 11 quake and tsunami, stated Carlos Tavares, president of Nissan’s Americas operation. Nissan objectives to fill all initial orders
