Wisconsin’s plan for animal ID

With the federal government relegating the national animal ID system to just an animal health program, the Wisconsin Livestock Identification Consortium has developed a plan to create an identity and traceability system for livestock from their state. Robert Fourdraine is executive director of WLIC; he says the three-pronged program will make Badger State livestock more marketable around the world.
