Much more fall-like in Wisconsin

Much more fall-like across Wisconsin last week, the weekly Crop Progress Report from the National Ag Statistics Service Wisconsin Field Office puts temperatures at 3 to 5 degrees below normal. Growing degrees days are still above average across the state. Precipitation ranged from 0.46 inches at Eau Claire and Madison to 1.08 inches in Milwaukee last week but soil moisture is still below normal with 67 percent adequate, 26 percent short and 6 percent very short.
