Tuesday midday cash livestock markets

No bids are reported so far on Tuesday in the feedlot cattle trade. Bullish psychology though appears to be on the rise, at least among cattle producers. Limit gains in live and feeder futures on Monday obviously gave feedlot managers a shot in the arm, and further cattle futures progress today could serve as an effective booster. Early asking prices are now around 120.00 live and 187.00 plus on the dressed basis. Some risk managers will simply tie asking prices to spot October, steady to $1.00
