Quetta – At least seven people were killed and 11 others injured when a powerful explosion hit Quetta, a city southwest Pakistan on Wednesday (31/08/2011), local television Urdu, ARY reported.
More than ten cars were also destroyed following the explosion which occurred at around 09:50 local time, in a parking lot on the road Alamdar in the city. Buildings in the vicinity were also damaged. According to police, the bomb was activated by remote control.
