A special ceremony will take place at the Nebraska State Fair this Sunday to recognize the contribution of Nebraska’s corn farmers to earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan.
The Nebraska Corn Growers Association helped coordinate the grain donation program, which spokesman Mat Habrock says was very successful.
