BANGKOK – stock bourses in Asia and the Pacific opened down earlier this week, on Monday (05/09/2011). This is a response of weakening global stock markets, particularly after the release of negative employment data in the United States last week that directly hit the Dow Jones.
Nikkei 225 index opened down 1.7 percent at 8797.89 levels. Kospi Index dropped 2.5 percent at 1821.65 levels. Likewise Australian stock exchange, the S & P ASX 200 is down 2.1 percent at 4154.90 and the level
