Harvest is underway in Indiana

Relief from hot and dry temperatures came last week with cooler temperatures and scattered rainfall but it may have been a little too late. Showers however, may have helped late planted and double cropped soybeans.
Ninety-six percent of the corn crop is in the dough stage compared to 100 percent last year. Seventy-two percent of the corn acreage is in dent stage compared with 95 percent last year at this time. Twenty-two percent of the corn acreage is mature, well behind last year’s
