Word on a remake of Robert Zemeckis’ 1984 adventure film Romancing the Stone has been relatively quiet since it was first announced nearly three years ago.
Now, Deadline reports that plans have changed and, rather than being set up as a feature film, the property will be developed by NBC as a television series with Shawn Levy producing and potentially attached to direct the pilot.
