Honda is withdrawing 1.5 million vehicles after a trouble with their automatic transmission control modules.
The fault, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration could result in “the vehicle rolling after the driver has placed the gear in the park position,” and also can cause a short circuit that makes the vehicle accidentally stall.
NHTSA added the troubles increased “the risk of a crash or personal injury to persons within the path of a rolling vehicle.”
