To help reduce teenage pregnancies rates, New York City public schools will teach a mandatory sex education classes to all middle-and high-level students. This is inistiatif of the local community.
Chancellor Denis Walcott said in letter annouching for the plans that public schools will be required to teach a semester of education to sixth or seventh grade classes and take again to ninth or tenth graders.
Classes that are required to provide sex education will be taught to children aged 11
