Warm water deaths from “brain eating amoeba”

The Naegleria fowleri amoeba that’s usually found warm freshwater, such as lakes, rivers, and ponds. Naegleria commonly Is not found in well-maintained swimming pools or hot tubs.
The teen probably got the infection while swimming in the St. Johns River with her family.
