Blackbeard’s anchor brought to the surface of North Carolina coast

Archeologists found the first anchor from what’s thought to be the shipwreck of the pirate Blackbeard’s flagship off the North Carolina sea coast Friday, a movement that might alter projects about how to salvage the rest of the nearly 300-year-old artefacts from the central piece of the ship.
Divers had designed to retrieve the second-largest artefact on what’s trusted to be the Queen Anne’s Revenge but found out it was overly well-attached to other parts in the ballast
