The Justice Department is set to indict former presidential candidate John Edwards on accusations that he spoilt campaign finance laws attempting to cover up an adulterous affair on the last presidential campaign, according to multiple reports.
A source near to the investigation told ABC News that Edwards is witting of the Justice Department’s plans and could try to set up a supplication deal to avoid a trial.
