Barnes & Noble unveiled a thin new version of its Nook electronic book reader on Tuesday, featuring a touch screen, months-long battery life and a price equally with Amazon.com’s midplane Kindle.
The Simple Touch Reader boasting a six-inch, black and white touch screen was available for order online at nook.com for $139 and was to start shipping on June 10.
